We built Hokkaido Home for independent travelers road-tripping this island: people who want a real home base, their own kitchen, and the freedom to explore on their own clock. We’ve been picking out the best of the best — accommodations, tours, and restaurants we’d send our own family to — so your days feel like living in Hokkaido, not racing a tour-bus schedule.
